City Foundry Builds on Continued Growth with New Tenants, Strong Visitor Traffic and Expanded Events Calendar
New openings, steady year-over-year visitation gains and a packed lineup of weekly and seasonal programming reinforce City Foundry as a go-to destination in Midtown
City Foundry is building on sustained growth in visitation, tenant demand and on-site activity with five new businesses, continued increases in foot traffic and taxable sales, and a full calendar of weekly and seasonal events that give visitors more reasons to return.
In 2025, the district generated $60,282,858 in taxable sales, up from $56,226,971 in 2024, while total visitation reached approximately 2.34 million visitors, up 6.9% from 2024’s 2.19 million. In Q4 of 2025, City Foundry recorded 575,200 visitors, up 6.5% from 539,700 in 2024. Taxable sales for the same time period were $15,381,350, up 3% from $14,882,090 in 2024. This momentum has continued into 2026, with 559,800 visitors in Q1, a 3.7% increase compared to Q1 2025’s 539,500.
New tenants expand what visitors can do in a single trip
City Foundry is adding six new concepts spanning family entertainment, retail and food and beverage, further diversifying its mix and broadening its appeal to new audiences.
“City Foundry continues to evolve as a place where people can spend an entire day or simply stop in for one experience,” said Will Smith, president of New + Found. “The combination of new tenants, consistent programming and strong visitation shows that the district is delivering value for both guests and businesses.”
New and upcoming tenants include:
Urban Fort Play – A purpose-built indoor play space for children up to age 6, offering memberships, drop-in play, parties and workshops. The new location also includes an in-house Blueprint Coffee and expanded retail.
Outlier STL – A professional piercing and fine jewelry studio focused on safe practices and high-quality jewelry.
Thorn Vintage – A curated streetwear and vintage clothing shop owned by a Saint Louis University student entrepreneur.
Mocha Point – A Yemeni coffee concept opening its largest regional location, designed for working, studying and gathering.
Beast Craft BBQ – Joining the Food Hall lineup with a new barbecue concept opening May 2.
Brickline Brew House – A new, sports bar themed concept taking over the 3-story dining and events space, and rooftop patio.
In addition to customer-facing tenants, City Foundry continues to attract office users. Tech startup Noise recently moved into the district, underscoring the continued growth of the live-work-play environment.
“We are all in on City Foundry,” said Diego Kafie, co-founder and CEO of Noise. “I've been a patron of the amenities for years, but never imagined I'd work here one day. When we were looking for our first office, we toured the space and were blown away by it. Several of our team members are now members at TruFusion, have the Alamo Drafthouse season pass, and enjoy easy access to Fresh Thyme, the Food Hall and the other entertainment offerings.”
Established weekly programming
Beyond major events, City Foundry has built a consistent schedule of recurring programming that creates energy throughout the week:
Wednesdays: Alamo Trivia
Thursdays: Food Hall Trivia
Sundays: DJs and live music at NOTA
Fridays through Sundays: Live music in the Food Hall
Last Fridays: Golden Gems After Dark and plant crafts at Garden Distrcit STL
Tenants also contribute to the experience, with ongoing programming at venues like Alamo Drafthouse and City Winery.
