City Foundry and STL Bucket List are teaming up on a Tornado Relief Night at the first Live Art Market in response to the recent tornado that impacted communities across St. Louis. The event will raise funds and engage volunteers to support relief efforts while offering a space for the community to come together over music, food and art.
100% of funds raised will be evenly distributed between five nonprofits leading community-based tornado relief efforts. Those organizations include:
FortheCultureSTL
St. Louis Early Childhood Tornado Response Team
Delmar Makers District Arts Nonprofits
Craft Alliance
MADE Makerspace
LovetheLou
Donations will be received through:
Fundraising Raffle: Purchase a raffle ticket to win exciting items and experiences from local businesses. The raffle will go live online prior to the event, and tickets will cost $5 each or $100 for 30 tickets. More information will be released soon.
Artist Performances: More than 10 local artists will be creating and performing live, donating 100% of their ‘tips’ to the beneficiaries. Signs will be posted throughout the event with QR codes to donate, and artists will also have tip jars for cash donations.
During the event City Foundry is also hosting a food and supply drive in partnership with the St. Louis Early Childhood Tornado Response Team who has requested the following items for the early childhood education (ECE) centers and daycares located in the direct path of the tornado, as well as impacted families of young children and other ECE centers affected by the storm.
